Proposing a New Gym

For those of you wanting to start up a new gym and become a Gym Leader post in this thread!

If we have reached our maximum desired amount of gyms, this thread will be locked.

Here are some steps to go through:
1) Introduce yourself!  We want to get to know all our Leaders so we can be friendly and stuff.
2) Propose a theme or type.  Refer to "How the League Works" for guidelines and tips for choosing a viable theme.
3) Propose 6-8 Pokemon that will comprise your central team and represent your type or theme.

If we approve your proposed Gym, we will then ask that you schedule a match with a sitting Gym Leader, who will judge your battling ability.  You can choose whether or not to use your themed team or not; whatever you think will best display your ability to battle as a Gym Leader.

Right now, you can post your gym, but it may be a while until you can face a Leader to be tested.

If you pass that little test, we'll give you your own sub-forum, where you are free to set up your Gym and begin accepting challenges!

I am working on the bug gym, or atleast trying to.

my bug consist of galvantula, volcarona, durant, and venipede

will be adding scyther and heracross once i get one.

Not only is your team accepted, but all Gyarados used by League members are mandated to now be called Mr. Fish. At least mine is going to be. Screw the rules, I have Gyarados.

Argh! I knew I should have posted sooner! I wanted to do a dragon gym too! ;-;

Ahh well... hmm... kind of obscure, but how about an Archosaur gym? :3 That would include croc-like pokemon, dinosaur-like pokemon, and bird pokemon...

So something like Archeops, Feraligatr, Tyranitar, Rampardos, Sceptile, Altaria/Togekiss? I dunno, it's not set in stone, and some pokemon (Sceptile, Togekiss) can be argued either way... =/

I am wantin to do a Steel Gym. I've got my team of Ferrothorn, Scizor, Excadrill, Empoleon, Metagross, and my end all, be all: Bastiodon!!!!

I've even got all these ready to go, if anybody wants to try me.

Little too much variety there. You should limit down your theme a little more.

Steel and Dragon teams are good!

I figured it was a stretch... -_-; Ah well...

Finally able to fully access this site using my phone's internet. I thank Admin for posting my team for me. I look forward to proving my team to the gym leaders. I don't think anyone will be disappointed ^^

YAY! Finally was able to get on. Had to make myself a new E-mail.
Anyway the fire team I'm working on is Blaziken, Torkoal, Rapidash, Charizard, Arcanine, and Volcarona.

Can I have more than one gym? I've already got ideas and pretty much all the pokemon for both a Monkey Gym and like a Mineral (ground/rock types) Gym.

Also, we're going to go ahead and start testing. Our Leader's schedules are tight right now, though, so be prepared to wait.

Richard, your tester will be Larryk.

Get in contact with those guys, you can post in their Gyms or PM them, or do whatever you want. Schedule a match with them, and afterwards, I'll let you know if you passed the test!

Fefnir and Cassy, we'll test you after these first two are done.

Though I'm sure your team is fine, out of fairness we'll still probably have you test against someone before we add your gym. Stay tuned!

Since Richard was here first, he gets first dibs on the Bug Gym. Unless, of course, Richard feels comfortable accepting the challenge and risking a loss. Otherwise, if he passes his test he gets the Gym. You'll be free to join it, of course.

My name is Cameron Moody. Justin has handed the reins over to me for the dragon gym saying that he doesn't have the time to run one. Anyway, the pokemon I will be using are as follows:

Jasmine: Flygon, female

I also am in the process of drawing up a badge for my gym. The current draft can be viewed on the league's Facebook page.

My team's ready to be challenged. I just need to get my bus pass so I can head to Black Hawk over here on the Illinois Side. It's the only place I know how to get to where there's decent open-wifi.

hi. my name is Anthony Lovell and i would like to propose a serpentine style gym. my party will for the most part include:
Moriko- Serperior - Female
Orochi- Seviper - Male
Natsuko- Arbok - Female
Hikaru- Milotic - Male
Hitomi- Dragonair - Female
Tatsuya- Gyarados - male
IF accepted as a gym leader i will have to wait to be tested till i can hang out with Cameron moody ( the curent dragon gym leader if i have been properly informed ^u^ )) because i myself dont know of any real good open whi fi places that i can get to when not with him.
ive been toying around with a name for the gym and ide like it to be called the Ophiachan Gym ( in representation of the Zodiac Ophiachus witch so hapens to be my sign )
and ive also been toying around with a badge but i dont want to devote to mutch time into a badge if i dont get exsepted so ill just wait to go any further till i here back from some one.
